Rain Classroom
Introduction to Rain Classroom
Rain Classroom is a smart teaching tool developed by Tsinghua University. After Rain Classroom is installed on PC, we can edit courses and exercises via Powerpoint. Then the course content is pushed to Wechat. By scanning a QR code with Wechat, students can easily log into a Rain Classroom.

I will use Rain Classroom to create a course online. This classroom mainly includes the following teaching procedure and content.

Before class:

The teacher pushes preview materials and exercises to Wechat (with audio explanation)

The teacher checks up students preview progress via the classroom tool.

In class:

Push courseware to each registered student. Students do not need to take photos or write notes of the teaching contents.

Push exercises to students to check and consolidate students’ learning.

Students can use “bullet screen” to comment and communicate in the whole process of the lesson.

Students can give feedback on whether they have mastered the part they have learnt in class.
After class
-
Collect and analyze students’ performance in class.

Push assignment and homework to students.

Grade and give feedback on students’ homework and assignment.
